Jeanne-Claude and Christo

The less famous half of Christo and Jeanne-Claude passed away at age 74 last night due to complications of a brain aneurysm. Her many projects with her husband have included: Running Fence in Sonoma and Marin Counties, California in 1975, wrapping the Pont Neuf Briddge in Paris in 1985, Wrapping the Reichstag in Berlin in 1995, and The Gates of New York City in 2005. Her active presence in the art community will be missed. We send our condolencences to her family.
